We are around 15 minutes into our set, and I get a bloody nose, I try to breath in heavily to stop the blood from flowing, after 10 minutes or so, it stops. But it was wierd, then our guitar player breaks a string, then the bass players cord goes bad, and lastly during one of my solo's after I flipped out of snare mode, when I was done I couldn't flip it back quickly while playing, the guys were wondering why I finishing the tune with a tom rather then a snare. other than that, all went well. LOL

Get yourself to a CVS or Rite Aid and check your blood pressure immediately. If it's high, call your doctor or go to a local ER. They'll give you medication to help bring it down and stabilize it if that is the cause of the nose bleeding.
Hypertension isn't something to fool around with, one word: stroke.
It's also a common cause of nose bleeds when it gets too high. Easy fix if that's what is. I've been on blood pressure meds for 20+ years with no bad side effects. Check yourself, buddy. It 'could be' something serious.
Bleeding is never a 'good' symptom.

Listen to John's advice, sir! It's not worth taking this lightly. Sure, we've all had things happen on stage that in retospect, may appear quite humourous. This is NOT one of them. Get this checked out, my friend.

I checked it out, 114 over 58, pretty normal. Maybe I should join a polka band, maybe I'm too old for this hard rock stuff. I think I burned 2000 calories for an hour set........

Maybe the air in the club was exceptionally dry? I sometimes have issues with nosebleeds if the air is too dry, in which case I always have some saline nasal spray with me to help moisturize my nasal and sinus passages. Just a thought

Just trying to look out for you buddy. Glad to hear it wasn't blood pressure.
Play on Mc Duff!

Ya gotta stop the pre-show pick. It's beginning to take a toll on the membranes.
Just kidding. Take care of yourself. Glad you made it through the gig after such a rough lead-in.
my left nostril used to bleed all the time when i bumped it I got tired of cleaning my gear so i went to the doc and he found a blood vessel very close to the surface in that nostril so i had him burn it out very similar to what a boxer does never has been a problem again... your blood pressure looks fine see a nose doc and have him take a look...
With all that happened it sounds like bad Mojo in the room.
Glad you're ok.
I had 'Bad Mojo' in the room once... he ruined my gig too!
