That looks like mahogany cortex to me,could still be a 3 ply,I bought a Mahogany cortex kit in 1979 that was 3 ply,had a nat int bd,with granitone toms.

You never know with Ludwig,but IMO 1850 is way to high without the 18X12,and in comparison to the snare and FT,that looks like a 13 to me.

Yes, I thought it was walnut Cortex at first, but the color is a little bit too reddish for walnut...so mahogany Cortex is what it must be.

Here is my 1972 jazzette. The kit for sale looks cool but I can't see any 6-ply Ludwig set like that worth that much. I'm sure it sounds great though.

BTW I do have the correct B/O badge jazzfest now too. I got the set with a 1966 jazzfest and sold it to get a B/O one.
