VINTAGE ROGERS USA CLASSMATE 13x4" SNARE DRUM. with the eagle badge in WMP..any idea of the year please gang? Been a long time since i saw one of these so had to add it to the collection..hope you like it!

Reference books aren't perfect, but , The Rogers book has the Classmate 4X13" listed as finished in either Black or white lacquer, & w/ a very simple tensioner that merely tightens the snares(1954-62). However, the "Banner " snare(5X14") has pearl finishes & the very strainer that appears on your snare (c.1962).

Your throw off appears to be a type used beginning in 1960, so I'm guessing that around this time (c.1962) , Rogers started putting pearl finishes, & the "Universal Throw off Strainer" on their Classmates.
