These are listed on Kijiji Toronto today. "Looks" like a great deal but the lugs are not round. Are these legit (maybe after Tama took over) or fakes?

These are -not- made in USA Camco's. Those are the new Tama/Camco's MIJ or Taiwan, whatever. Not the same drums as the vintage USA kits. I can't vouch for how they sound because I've never played them. Maybe someone here who owns a set of these will be able to tell you if they are worth the money.

Interesting the hardware is very close to tama artstar in regards to the tom mounts, and i have never seen those lugs. the badges are close to the 90s or late 80's style. I have never seen anything like that before. interesting

John, Is so right with his posting..These Tama/Camco made drums are from the mid 80's these are like the rockStar line of shells 9 ply crap shells to me they sound like that to...I see these sets alot on C/L for about 300.00 with cymbals and hardwear.I would not pay more than 150.00 to 175.00 in the U.S. for this set...Mikey
Same drums as my 89 Rockstars-same mounts, lugs, dimensions.Different spurs, though. They look like MIT generics.

I like the brushed finish on them.
this would be a sweet set to turn into a DELOREAN drum set!
