Thanks Nevin~! I send you a email with the details. I talked to Joe today and we setup a day and time for me to pick them up.

Thanks guys for the kind words. So many nice members here have helped me out too. I'm just trying to pay it forward a bit. Gary K (slingerland) picked up and shipped me a beautiful A zild last month. I'm very grateful for that. Super nice guy Gary is too!! One of many we have here. I owe him a big favor in return. ;)

Nevin we'll talk soon!!

Nevin I met up with Joe this morning and have your drums here. I called you and left a message. Give me a call when you can to discuss packing and what not. These are really cool drums!!

Joe's a really nice guy. He showed me his 50's BDP Slingerland kit. Man they are nice. I told him about the VDF forum and think he'll join. He's a hard core drum guy and will fit right in.

Talk soon. ;)

What a great bunch of guys (and gals) on this forum!

I second that!

Wont forget it Glenn....and if there EVER is anything you need let me know. Will be first in line to get it in your hands.

Purdie: Need to say this about Glenn. Though I have never met this man, he is one to call a friend. I offered what I thought was reasonable, and he replied, "Nevin, that is WAY too much...only $10-$15 bucks to cover gas". I offered zildjians, a Slingerland snare...with only a big "Thanks Nevin, but I am ok with the gas money". Not MANY people would do that, and the reason is, because another GREAT forum member did it to him...just repaying the favor. WOW!

What Glenn doesn't know however is (will after reading this)...I will have his address, and Christmas is just around the corner..(sneaky)

Hi Nevin~!

Yes just a few bucks for gas and cover the packing materials is more than enough. But THANK YOU for your very generous offers!! I'd feel weird accepting anything more. I do really appreciate it very much. Really very nice of you. Your A++++ in my book! ;)

Thank you!

Just felt I had to say something about Glenn....most of you probably THINK that I know this man, as well as have had deals with him. That is not true! I received the drums today, and wanted to share with you what I believe was THE best transaction I have EVER had (been an eBay buyer/seller for years). This man whom I have never met, took the time and energy to do another man on here a huge favor in PICKING these up, package them, and have them shipped to me. Was certainly SHOCKED at the gesture, but after conversing with this gentleman...and I stress GENTLEMAN, I can assure each and every one of you on here, that this man is an genuine as they come. It took me over two hours to unpack this kit, as every aspect of packaging was not left unturned. I need to take lessons from Glenn for sure, as it was the BEST I have seen...remind you, he doesn't know me from ADAM. My kindest heartfelt appreciation goes out to this man...it is so much appreciated, and never forgotten. Santa is going to be very appreciative of you this season...as well as I am. Thanks Glenn...your NEW friend, Nevin
