Don't want to revive this posting as such.. just an update & one serious question..

The kit is still up for grabs at 900.00, or best offer. 3rd listing that I know of. 2nd posting I did a best offer bid of 50 bucks. (When I mentioned Elderberries the seller backed off) technically the kit should be mine but I'm not Pushing.

Question is.. are any of the hardware bits the same as the Niles kits. Specifically... Lugs ??

Cheers

The elderberry is quite similar to the dingleberry. The main difference is that it is easier to get rid of dingleberries.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

I don't believe so,and the hardware is considerably thiner, and cheap potmetal was used. Some of the lugs may bolt up but the quality is terrible. Those drums have about as much in common with real Slingerlands as a used Toyota has with a Ferrari. The kit you seek will come your way young Slingerland Jedi .Cheers mate.

(Note, if I had ended up with the Kit at 50.00, It would have been "torched"

and belted with a sledgehammer, whilst I danced naked around my yard...all on video)... see what you guys have missed out on...By the way, is Elderberrie flammable??
