First off,Welcome to the forum,Looks like butcher block to me,I believe the butcher block wrap was offered starting 1969,easiest way to determine year made is if the paper tags inside are still intact,if the tag says fullerton calif,they are 1969-1971,if they say 9/72 they could be 1972 -1975.The int of the shell should be a gray and white speckled paint,and some of the 9/72 have a 3 ply with re ring shell,as opposed to the 5 ply with re ring shell.I can't see the tom mount very well,but if both sides match they probably were a 5 pc kit with a 13" tom,As to where they were originally sold, don't know where you are,could be any of the 50 united states,but some wraps sold stronger regionally and according to the style of music, the lighter feaux wood wood wraps like butcher block and maple I know were popular in atlanta and surrounding areas especially with country drummers.
