Amazing rogers deal

When i first saw this ad i was surprised.. Too good to be true, and... it just may be the case...

I just researched this kit and it turns out that the pic used in this ad is from Steve Maxwell's shop.

Why would someone who states that he isn't a music store and has sold many items on this local classified,

be deceptive ? Makes no sense to me..If he does indeed have a simlar 60's Rogers, than it's a fantastic deal.

But i have my doubts.. Too bad though..

If it were local to me I might consider taking a look see but I don't think I'd trust to do a long distance transaction from an ad with a "borrowed" photo. He might just be too lazy to take his own picture but it could also be a scam. I can't read French so I couldn't tell if he addresses that oddity in his text. If he actually has the equivalent set to what's in the picture for sale at that price it would be a good deal...but then again maybe TOO good.

Agree completely with what K.O. has stated! I can see no reason for NOT supplying pictures of the actual kit. Proceed with much caution!

He used this one to attract your attention, and it worked. As to the responder above, you can right click the page and ask for it to be translated to English.

I followed the link to his other ads & one of them says Rogers Big R, 79 to 84 for sale, so I picked up the phone & yes, it looks to be a Big R Londoner 5 with Dyna-Sonic (missing rail), unless it's really an Island copy or something. The guy doesn't really know much about Rogers, but confirmed that there are lines and a Big R badge on the snare. Several people have called already (obviously).

Yes, be wary of any seller who doesn't put up a pic of the actual item, in this case

a valuable vintage kit.. I've got all the drums i need for now, but if this kit

was the real deal in that condition, i'd sell something just to get..
