Abex Cymbals?

Loading...

Hello all. I have an Abex 20" Swish Cymbal. Well, that's all the info I could find on the net about it. It's what I would call a china cymbal. It has Abex stamped or engraved on it. Does anyone have info on these cymbals and possibly an idea how much it may be worth?

Hi there, according to the Cymbal Book by Hugo Pinksterboer, (A valuable reference book by the way and u can buy it through Rob Cook at http://www.rebeats.com ).

The TOSCO cymbal company(closed in october 1986). made Abex cymbals until the end of 1983 for the Meisel Cymbal Company. (USA).

So they are discontinued and have vintage appeal/ value but in money termsi I dont know... if if sounds or looks good thats great... maybe someone on

http://www.cymbalholic.com

can help yui more with information

cheers
