A Slingerland kit I truly miss!

I'm sure we've all been there; obtaining a vintage kit that is as complete and original as you're ever likely to find. You drool over it, lovingly set it up to take dozens of pictures, admire it for a few months, and then for some untold reason, turn around and sell it for what now seems like peanuts!

Here was mine. A beautiful Slingerland 1968 Cusatis 4N, just as it shows in the catalog. Even had the optional 9x13 tom! As you can see, the original bass drum batter head even had the built-in muffler strap and moleskin patch. Also had the original front head as well. The wonderful vintage Zildjian cymbals came with the kit...and were sold with it! I'm getting misty-eyed just thinking about it!

Wow, I never have the problem missing a vintage set that i have sold.That's because i never have sold a vintage set..Sometimes i do sell them but thats only if i have two in the same color and drum sizes....Mikey

Been there... Done that! Beautiful kit. I'd be missing that one too. I usually ended up finding an even better kit. So, I guess this is where I say... keep your chin up... all hope is not lost. There is another kit out there just waiting for you. Eye Ball
