A gift from a friend (....and Mitch Mitchell on a Gretsch) Last viewed: 11 hours ago

My good friend Jason went to the Experience Hendrix concert in Houston, TX a few nights back. He brought me a souvenir! Billy Cox personalized and signed a photo for me! ExcitedExcited

And... I always remember Mitch to play Ludwigs. It appears he's on a nice set of Gretsch drums here!

Anyhow, thought I would share this super cool photo with everyone.

Thanks for lookin'!

Thanks guys! The smile on my face wouldn't seem to go away when he gave this to me today! I'm kicking myself for not buying a ticket. I will next year for sure. Jason told me that Billy hangs out in the lobby area of the venue and signs autographs and takes pictures with fans. Said he is a super nice guy! I'll be there next go around for sure. Unit then.. this one will be in a frame soon!

Excellent photo and nice to have that signature. As a side bar, it demonstrates once again the preference the British drummers had for Swivomatic hardware!
