OK, my buddy Vintagemore2000 assures me these are now mine, although I haven't paid for them yet........:)

1975 Slingerlands ... 20 / 13 / 16 / with matching Artist snare

He had about a 45 minute "goodbye session" with them after we got them set up at my place........ I had to kick him out before he changed his mind..............

He really got the Artist snare dialed in hard before he left.... it barks and sings !!

The 20 inch bass sounds better than my ' 77or ' 63 22 inch by a long shot.....

Kevin, I'm glad you like them, they are fabulous sounding, and I'm glad the snare drum has a smile on your face, this is a beautiful kit!! actually it was like an 1 1/2 hours!! need em in the gallery!!!

How do the 70's Slingerlands sound compared to the 60's if any different.

Thanks Snooter..... these are the 3-ply with maple interiors, so they seem a little more resonant than the 3-ply mahog interiors from pre '63 to my ears.
