once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
Very Nice. I have that one as well. Best sounding snare I've heard.
What can you get that super for ?? That would make a nice accessory to your kit. So going back to the start of this thread , 2010, how is your playing coming along?

I was thinking about offering him 250. My playing has gotten much better. Would still like to really master using my left foot for hi hat work while still keeping the kick pattern solid and in the pocket. It's hard! Besides, I don't consider myself a drummer so much as a guitar player. I'll say this... " I'm damn good at drums, for a guitar player... " lol
You like that head though? I tried one on my Pearl kit's snare and didn't really dig it. Maybe it was the drum. It's hard to imagine any head sounding bad on this DB snare.
Here's me 49 years ago with my '65 Downbeat Kit in BDP except for the 5 x 14 Acrolite snare. Purchased them new in the summer of 1965 and still have them today. 12/14/20 with '76 5 x 14 Supra now....:)
