A bargain ain't a bargain unless you need it.I'd talk him down to $375-$400.If he's firm on asking price I want to see how others respond to your question here on the forum.

I would definitely go look at it!!! More pics would be nice but it seems pretty clean.

A nice set of Stage Band series drums! Love the two-tone Duco finish, too! Appears to be before Slingerland put air vents/badges on the toms. Nice maple interiors, most likely. Does the seller have the hoops, tension rods and heads for the bottom of the toms? That could set you back around $100, as the hoops are COB. The snare drum looks like a Student model with clips for the tension rods. All original hardware! Don't see many green/silver duco finishes. If you're close by, check them out. $450, to me, seems very fair for everything included, but there's no harm in friendly haggling! As the other post said, try $375 to $400 and see what happens. I have a feeling these won't last long!

The bottom rims missing would be a good bargaining factor. Also it looks like it probably started life as a two piece with the floor added since the floor is double sided and the bass and ride Tom are stage band style. With the cymbals and hardware seems like a good deal to me.

Awesome. Thanks everyone. Thing is I don't NEED them. I have some extra cash and its only ten miles from my family in rural mn. I prefer Ludwig but these are cool. Dunno what to do as I already have a great kit. Is this flippable?

I would offer them 375.00 then go up to 400.00 just because of the snare drum...Mikey
