'60s Vintage Stick Holder Last viewed: 1 minute ago

Anybody remember those Ludwig (I think) 'scoop' stick holders that mounted on the hi-hat or a cymbal stand? They were black and plastic or some sort. Now that I've just bought an authentic '60s Ludwig kit, I don't want to put a Vater on there to hold my sticks.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. No, this is it here.

Any clues as to where one might be found, or its model #? I'm pretty sure it's a Ludwig, or maybe a Rogers.

Thanks.

ludwig had the stick coils that mounted on the bass drum hoop. rogers had the trays that held the sticks. they come up on ebay from time to time.

Here's one:

Pricey things aren't they? Not much good without the mounting hardware.

isnt that all of it though? i was thinking they slip over a rod and simply tighten at the bottom of the tray?

they came with a L bracket and attachment to a hihat stand but i always just used a cymbal stand or a L bracket off the base drum they also work great off the L arm on a base drum if your ride is not to deep...
