Well I finally got this one done!!! Not chrome btw, nickel.
The cool thing about this snare is that its born on date is the same as my son's birthday and since it's his drum that was a nice bonus!

Beautiful! And that really is some shiny nickel. Are those new hoops, re-plated, or is there some miracle process you used for cleaning up the old hoops?

Hey gang, thanks!! New plating all the way around..it's hard to polish the old stuff the plating is so thin.
