1984 Supra, Last From Chicago

Loading...

I've got something for a Ludwig collector or anyone looking for a great SupraPhonic: a Ludwig SupraPhonic, vintage 1984. One of the very last out of the Chicago factory, transition badge with no serial number (they'd already shipped the number machine to Monroe, NC). Plus...it's one of the rarer ones that came out of the factory with bowtie lugs instead of Imperial lugs. Size is 5x14. Some flaking of chrome (as usual) so it's not perfect but very shiny overall and has been in a humidity controlled environment. Rims and hoops are in very nice condition as are the lugs and sounds superb. I've even kept silica gel packets in the case with it to absorb humidity and the flaking has never gotten worse. Comes with a Kaces III case and PureSound snare wires. I'll let it go for $225 including shipping. If you're interested, PM me. I'd rather sell it here than on eBay and will use the money to find another Ludwig for the collection. Not looking to get rich, just selling for someone who wants a great snare for for recording or playing.
