Did anyone else see that 1982 Tama Bell Brass that sold today on ebay for $2500?? If my memory serves me correctly one of the last ones I saw sell from that era went for over $6000 a couple of years ago-I am no expert but has the market gone that soft?

In the past week there have been at least 4-6 new "reissue" 6.5" that have sold within an hour or two for $1999 and free shipping. And then there was one guy selling them for 22 or $2300. He actually didn't have them on hand and was waiting on an order of 3 from his Tama rep... At any rate, this has all happened within the last 5 or 6 days, or at least I first became aware of them showing up on Ebay 5 or 6 days ago... Bad timing for the 1982 guy....
Perhaps that had something to do with the price. I'm sure more new ones will pop up on Ebay soon...
