1968 Keystone Badge LM410 w/ block logo SS mechanism

Loading...

Hi Guys! I'd like to introduce my new acquisition.singer

Once again, I couldn't resist to one S.S..... This time a 68´s LM410.Yes Sir

After having hoarded Super Sensitive for a long time, them I fell on Dyna´s spells, but I came back to my first love again!!!CryBabyLoLoLoLo

Maybe this wasn't the deal of the month, but it is in almost flawless overall condition.

Only "issue" is the SS mechanism looks like a few year "modern", with the "block Ludwig logo"

It´s possible that a 68 Keystone badge, could have a block logo SS strainer?

I guess not, but I´ld like to hear it from the experts (I`m really happy anyway!!!!!)

Thanks guys as usual!!

nice find. looks great. not sure on when exactly that they made the change. but the latter end of the keystone badge super sensitives did have the newer mechanism. I have a 69 that has it.

Actually, I'm now more convinced its a factory issue.

I was leafing Rob Cook´s book, and at page 250 (S.S. Chapter), it shows a pic of a ´68 LM410, and it looks like it have the block logo on the lever.

Also comments that 1968 was a year of changes on SS mechanism relating to the snare guards and a new cam.FYI

My perception is that this snare "lives on both worlds", with older snare guards and cam model and "newest" stamped block logo lever.........Ludwig rules!!LoLoLoLoLoLoLoLo

More in detail, stamped logo, is the "Hollow Block type", very specific of the early´s block logos.

Best regards!
