Up for grabs is a gorgeous 1963 Slingerland silver sparkle Artist snare in VG+++/ Exc condition. I just picked up a 7X14 Slingerland version of this drum, otherwise I'd be keeping it.

Here are the details: One ply shell is in nice shape and structurally sound. There is a little bit of factory wood filler in the side of one of the reinforcement hoops. The hoops and plies are all tight. The drum is in round and is very sensitive. Buzz rolls and rim shots are a joy to play on this drum.

The metal hardware is in very good shape overall with some minor pitting and scratches. One lug has a little bit more wear than the others. Perhaps from storage in the case. The batter hoop has a little bit of wear as well. The Zoomatic works fine but the rubber washer has deteriorated somewhat which is typical. There is minor plating loss at the top of the strainer by the lever. The snare wires are original and in very good shape.

This sale also comes with a Slingerland case, snare stand and Slingerland drum sticks. I bought it all together as a set from the previous seller.

I'm looking to move this at $365 plus shipping. I have quite a bit more into it so price is pretty firm. Thanks!
