1961 Ludwig/Clear Interior?

Loading...

I've found a 1961 stamped Ludwig drumkit I'm interested in, but the 22" BD has a clear maple interior.

Is this correct?

that is correct and usually found on the early 60's bass drums. even if the toms have mahogany clear interiors or painted resacote interiors, the bass is usually clear maple interior. these are some great sounding drums as well. yours might also have the old wfl carryover spurs too.

It has fold out spurs. What would the WFL's look like?
