beautiful/ is that a cob slingly snare?

yes it is, late 60s. I got it with the kit. The floor tom is also a 1963.

It makes me wonder if some guy ordered a club date kit in 61, and decided he wanted a floor tom or wanted a larger one a couple years later, and a few years after that wanted to switch the snare? It is fun to think about how things came to be.

And I really want to know what is up with the 4 holes on the bass drum for another consolette...
