Also, does anybody know anything about the 13" rack tom? its got a slightly different badge than the rest of the drums that came with the set, did they offer add on drums like this or something back in the day? or is this just picked up from a different set?

The 13" was added on later as the original bass mount configuration is for a single tom. Hard to tell from the pictures, but it appears the 13" might have a cast collet nose while the 12" is machined. The 13" could be a later Fullerton. Got pictures of the interior labels?

yeah i got some pictures i took of them awhile ago, and all those pictures of the tags on each of the drums are also on my other thread. but it says made in cleveland just as the other drums do. however, where it says Holiday model on the tag, instead of being the same font and style as the rest of the letters like on the other drums, on the 13" the "holiday" is a different font than the letters on the rest of the tag. Not sure what that means, but the bass drum is also the same way. I attached some pictures to show exactly what i mean.

You are pretty lucky.

The 46000 range printed tag is from 1964.

whilst I've never been given a drum kit while walking past a bar or even drinking in a bar, this has inspired me. I will persevere with visiting local bars in the hope that something like this might happen to me.

You gotta lose the rack man! Sell it!! And going for a 'modern' what? Nothing modern is good... vintage is the only way.

Cool kit!

I wouldn't take the "ditch the rack" stuff too personally :) You ARE on a VINTAGE drum forum.
