without the repainted interiors ive seen luddy 14's sell at 700+ so i feel 500 is a fair deal for a repainted shell, thanks!
Really, lookie here, this one just sold on ebay for $495 with a clear, original interior.
very good Johnny. check out completed listings alittle further and ull see that was a fluke. i love the gear you post for sale, u always find cool stuff!

Thanks, but I've noticed that guys who are willing to fork over that kind of dough for one drum, want it all original and will pay the extra coin to get one. Not being a collector, I don't get it, but that's how they are.

i hear ya brother, and i agree as ive noticed that over the years of selling. still, champagne sparkle seems to be a most desirable finish in vintage ludwig, especially in this size. the rest of the drum is practically mint, the chrome and wrap are flawless and the drum sounds excellent. i still feel 500 is a deal and im sure it will sell. just waitin for the right buyer. good luck with your sales as well!
I think it will sell as well, I didn't mean to imply it would not sell for your price, only that I understand how collectors think.
no harm, no foul brotha
Still available?
this sold over a year ago.
