Found this old SlingerLeedy online awhile back and it came in the mail yesterday. Really cool old Six Lug. Seems mostly all original except for the muffler. Not sure about the tone knob ?....but it came with some cool extra's as well. The blue pair of sticks are something I have not come across yet. They are metal (blue part) with plastic ends (white parts). If anyone knows what that's about I'd love to know. They even shipped it in it's original case for a total cost of 89 bucks. It's kinda funny that the shipping was 25.00 which makes the drum cost almost exactly what the original cost was in the 65 Leedy catalog of the Vintage Drum Guide.
1960 ish 6-Lug Frank Capp model Leedy.

Anyone know anything about these blue and white sticks. Super light hollowed out metal on the blue part. Was this a band thing at one time ?

They were a fad in the late 60's. I played in a rock band. The sticks worked well until you played rim shots. Then, the aluminum body of the stick dented. they were available in several colors of painted aluminum with white plastic tip and first few inches of the stick's shaft,
Thanks for the input ! These things are a bit dinged up on the sides. Super light sticks. Anyone know who made them ?

The tone knob looks like it may be a Slingerland from the late '60's-on. The knob that came on the SlingerLeedys was a lot smaller, and had a lot more knurling on the edges. The SlingerLeedy knob also had a hole in the center of it that allowed the main screw from the muffler to pass through it as you tightened the knob. Here's a decent pic of one:

Yeah, those sticks were pretty much worthless. A couple of dings and the stick bent.
I really don't remember who made them. I only tried them once or twice for the very reasons leedybdp stated. And I didn't like the balance and weight. They just didn't feel right, for me anyway.
Nice snare for cheap! Good find!
The sticks are weird for sure...I found this members 65 Frank Capp 8 lug and it has a similar tone knob but the rest of the mechanism is totally different. (although he does not have the proper rims on his model so who knows)I wonder if the 6 lug did not have a tone control and the previous owner added it or they just had a cheaper mechanism because it was a cheaper model. I have seen other 6-lugs like my Gretsch Dixieland that had no tone control during this time period.

I'm not a Gretsch expert, so I do not know what exactly makes a Gretsch Dixieland a Gretsch Dixieland. But I once had a 6-lug Gretsch RB snare (in starlite sparkle, no less) that was in immaculate condition; it was never drilled for a tone control.
On a sidenote... it was one of the worst snares I've ever owned.
