Greetings Gents,
I just acquired a nice 1958 Leedy kit. It comes with no L arms although there are two mounted clamps on the bass drum. Are there any brands that may be considered interchangeable with whatever was there originally. I would like to find some replacements.

If your kit came with the original "floor tom" type mounts, Any Ludwig, Slingerland, Gretsch, Rogers or even the 60's Japanese L-Arms would fit...

Vadrums is right - I have those 2 Leedy kits from 1958 and I got one of those SLingerlands L arms from an auction that he had a few months back. The other kit came with a Ludwig L arm and it is just about identical to the Slingerland.
What kind of finish/wrap does the kit have?
