1957 Leedy Drums

Loading...

I've had my eyes on a set of Leedy drums very much like the ones here:

http://www.hidehitters.com/drumsets/Leedy/1957Leedy241316BDP/index.html

The asking price is $899 +tax with matching 5.5 snare. Kick drum also might be a 22 instead of the 24 shown here. Not sure.

Does this $ sound about right? Good deal?

Nice looking set and that Swivo mount is a plus, I think. I bet they sound incredible. The owner of Hidehitters (Winnie Mensink) is a great guy.

'The price is right!' For a 57' kit, it's under-priced by hundreds of dollars. I can almost guarantee that they'll sound great. Really nice old kit.

Too many great drums to list here!

Website says 'Sold'. Great drums at a reasonable price, imo.

If the kit you are talking about is in original cond I would think 899.00 is a real good deal with a matching snare.

At one time the 50's 60's era leedy kits were going for about the same as a Sling, but from what little I have seen the leedy's are going for 15 to twenty per cent more.

I love those leedy lugs.

Thanks guys.

These aren't the drums BTW, just an example of what I'm talking about. I believe mine to be all original.
