1940-43 Leedy Broadway Standard

I finished detailing this 8x14 Leedy and it sounds incredible. Very deep but sensitive. Everything is original except the heads and snare cord, including the Snappi-Snares. My nephew is a talented drummer attending USC's School of Music. For his 21st birthday I've decided to make a gift of this drum, in hopes he too will catch the vintage bug. At the very least, he'll put it to good use.

I'm not sure I was either. LOL. Luckily he's an unusually responsible 21 year old. Otherwise I wouldn't risk it.

Luckily he's not a thrasher. He's got a nice feel for jazz and will hopefully show it the respect it deserves. Or else!!!
