Here is a drum I acquired last year and finally got around to cleaning up. I believe it's a 1929 Ludwig Super Sensitive model. Size 5x14 nickel over brass shell, 10 tube lugs with an engraved bottom hoop. Unfortunately, the top snares were missing 2 of the 12 original snares, but it still functions ok. The bottom snares are a gut/wire combination by the former owner Bill Wanser. I was searching for an early model metal drum for my Super Sensitive collection.. and it looks nice with the 1930-32 5x14 wood model!
