1928 Slingerland Tone Flange Last viewed: 10 minutes ago

I'm looking for some help getting the head to fit on this unusual drum I have. It's a cloud badge Tone Flange (gold sparkle, gold hardware) that says "Lipskin Special Model' on it. I finally aquired an original tone flange but I'm having trouble getting the original calf head to fit. I had heard one of you drum guru guys had worked on them before. I'd like to talk to them. It's not something I want to goof-up.

I'm trying to see how rare they are and if there are many other Lipskin models around. And yes I'm still looking for tips on getting the original calf head back on the thing!
