1920's John Grey kit Last viewed: 5 minutes ago

Loading...

Some pix of a kit we've finally completed rebuilding. It's a 20's John Grey, when we got it, the bass drum heads were torn and the shell had become twisted out of shape from years of storage with uneven tensioning.

The snare was more rust than anything else and it came with a case of rusty and broken 'hardware'. The lugs and tensioners on the bass drum had lost all their plating so they were rechromed and after coming across some 27 1/2" calf heads (don't ask!), we finally got it all put back together yesterday!

Mike if they are on your hard drive you can add them to the post as an attachment. Look for the little paperclip and click on it in the post.

Then hit browse to search your system then upload to add it to the post.

It will generate the thumbnails for you.

The only thing is the original images need to be under 50k

Or just email them to me and I will add them to the post.
