Here is something interesting. It's a Ludwig 12x18 single tension drum that a friend of mine used for a bass drum at some point. There's no legs attached to the drum, but there is an anchor on the "front".
It has reinforcing rings and bearing edges on both sides. The calf skin heads look pretty nice except for the folk art painted on both heads.
There are lots of holes left over from it's previous life. Some of them are filled in, some not. The shell is painted. I think it's green, my wife says it's blue-ish gray.
The wood hoops look like an inch and an eighth.
