well what is the take a 12 x 20 bd. (Ludwig)? I required one a while back and I'm thinking of paring up to a 12x 15 ft, 4x 14 snare, and 8x12 ht. This is starting to take shape as a light jazz/rock ensemble kit, i listed on another thread but decided too start a new one .

I have a 12x20 Slingerland BD matched up with a 16x14 FT and 9x13 TT, it's my Mini Big Band set!

Excited

Never play it the same way once.

I too have a 12 x 20 Ludwig bass drum. It has 8 classic lugs. I have an 8x12 rack tom, pioneer snare and made a 10x14 floor tom out of an old parade drum. It sounds and plays awesome.

Those are the exact sizes I use on small stage gigs, except the snare is 5.25x13. These are my Blaemire shelled, Ludwig tribute kit.

Love the small size kits! 12X20/22 bass drum is a great idea IMHO. Can't wait for pics...
