Very nice! Was this officially called a Jazz Festival in 1959, or was it the Barrett Deems?

I always wonder this as well. The copyright date on the '60 Ludwig catalog is 1959. So I think the last of the transition badge snares like this might be considered Jazz Festivals. Probably just as much strength for the other side of the discussion as well though. Mike |

I have a Leedy 1958 Black Diamond Pearl snare drum, very similar to Ludwig one in the photo. It is part of the 4pc. kit.
