Thanks, kevins. I had to pay for this one, though! I didn't get a great deal on it, money-wise. It's a pretty cool little drum (as far as it being a toy). Upon close inspection, you can see that the tin was scratched and then treated with some kind of chemical that gave it a surface finish that (I believe) was intended to mimic the look of a marine pearl. It looks like it was very lightly scratched with sandpaper or something and then treated with a chemical that grew strange crystalline structures from the scratches and then those crystals interacted with each other to form the weird marine patterning effect.

Very cool, O-Lugs!
THANKS for sharing.
Just wondering if you've got one like this in your collection?
I guess I'd call it "Red Tin Drum w/Wooden Hoops."

Hey, Old School! That's one cool rig you have there! I'd love to see some close ups of it! And, no, I don't have one of those.

It's actually not mine.
There's a gentleman who's selling it in the local area.
I simply thought it resembled some of the drums that I'm aware you've been picking up and thought that perhaps you had one like it.

I honestly imagine that that could be arranged, assuming I don't end up with it.
