Open jazzy sound? coated Ambassadors, top and bottom. If you shop around online you can get them in packs for much cheaper than any store.

Very nice looking set! Would you mind posting some more pics? I'd really like to see some close-ups of the wrap and the hardware (lugs, ft leg mounts, snare throw, etc.)

Great score. How does it play as it is now?

They sound raw... There is Evans G1 coated on batter & Remo weatherking on resonant side on the rack tom. Snare has Remo Ambassadors on batter and resonant. Floor tom has Remo Pinstripe clear on batter and ambassador coated on resonant. Bass heads don't have logos. I would like to "freshen" up the sound to draw out what these drums were meant to do. Here's a couple of pics for you. I will get some more close-ups of hardware for you tomorrow. Thanks for the interest in them.
