Greetings,
I recently picked up this cymbal. I have never seen a hollow ink stamp oriented that way on a cymbal before. This is also an 18" cymbal, and I've also never seen the hollow ink Zildjian logo that small before on a larger cymbal like this 18". Also, the ink "font" on the top of the cymbal doesn't quite match the usual hollow logo font we are used to seeing. It looks more like the randomly used font from the early 70's or even later 60's. Anyone seen this type of hollow ink stamp in this orientation? Thanks, V

Hello V,
I am responding just to let you know someone out there is looking at your post. Strange nobody has replied. I try to respond to things I know about so for the record "I know nothing". To me it looks like a 70's cymbal. It does have a mix of ink on it. Pretty cool and nice cymbal. Maybe a shot of the actual stamp on the cymbal would help. I know there's a lot of knowledgably people on the forum that could help, just not sure where they are at the moment. Good Luck Wayne |

It might be the lighting but it looks crimped.
