Default My Rogers Londoner 5

This is my Rogers Londoner 5 kit. I believe it's dated around 1978/79 era. It was bought for me by my Grandad of an old drummer here in the UK in 2006. The shell sizes are 22", 16", 13" and 14" snare. I also have the 12" tom to complete the kit but I need to collect it from my mother's loft! Notice the snare is a 7-line Dyna-sonic which I think is significantly older than the rest. Does anyone have anymore information to add? ps Why are my pics sideways?!

Hi James!

Not sure why your pictures are sideways! I don't have any issues when I upload. As for your Dynasonic without serial number, it's because it is an English-built drum! They used a completely different badge than the US built drums. I've never seen too many of these drums and yours appears to be in excellent condition! You've got a really fine kit. Enjoy!

Thanks Mark. So the snare is English built? But the rest of the kit is made in USA?

I agree with Mark. I think the English Dyna doesn't have a badge grommet either. Made by Boozey and Hawkes in London. The rest of the kit is American made

+1 with what Fayray just said! So, yes, you've got a rare B&H 7-line Dynasonic with an American-built Londoner. Hang on to that kit!
