Default Help finding info on drum company
No luck finding info on this particular drum company. Any help is much appreciated!

This is the info I've gathered from the badge.
Make:
Lyons

From:
Chicago USA

Model:
Monarch

If I remember right there was a big music store in Chicago on Wabash (not far from Franks drum Shop) called Lyon & Healy. Possibly something from them.

Before they started pushing their own brand Gretsch made house brand drums that were sold under different names, perhaps this is one of those. The badge seems similar.

Definately not Lyon & Healy. They make harps.... and haven't made drums since the early 1900's...

I have a cob, 6 lugger with the same badge and Lyon hang tag. I post pics later. Could it be related to Leedy and Strupe or Strupe? The tension rods are hexagonal.

Oh yea. The hang tag has a Chicago address.
