I just pulled a set of Gretsch Responso snare wires off an old 1920's Ludwig NOB drum. They have a little tarnish and some surface rust that could be removed with some gentle cleaning.
I wasn't sure if there was a market for old snare wires so I called a vintage drum shop and they said they would sell me a used set for $100 + shipping. So, I figured I would offer them up here first for $70 including shipping (lower 48 states) before I throw them on eBay in a few days. I am open to trades if you would rather do that. Thanks. I'm interested. What are you asking for the snare wires?
I've got lots of parts. What are you looking for in trade? -David |

Here are some things I could use:
Zildjian A or K crash (17"-19" preferred) 13" K Zildjian hi-hat bottom 12" Gretsch USA tom in Walnut Or Rosewood (player's grade is fine) 3 ply 16" Slingerland floor tom in white wrap Slingerland bass in BDP - any size, but 22" is preferred I would throw in other gear or cash to make up the difference in value. Thanks. Last edited by ConvertedLudwigPLayer; 04-28-2017 at 02:52 PM. |
