Hello everybody! I found this snare drum in my city and I am going to look at it on Thursday. I’ve seen plenty of Baxter kits but I’ve never seen anything like this. Has anyone else?

What are the dimensions? It looks like MIT or MIC origin...
Cheers

From what I’ve read, they are MIT and I’ve seen them floating around in various configurations in my province. It looks in alright shape and just might clean it up and see what it can do.

So, if you have seen them floating around, then they probably are not all that "rare"...Like you stated, clean it up, put the right heads on it and see what it can do...You may like the sound!!
Cheers

I should have stated I haven’t seen one like this before. I’m going to put new heads on it, snare wires and give it a go! I pick it up Thursday.
