Old DUCO orphans goodness
Player grade drums that an old collector and friend of mine let me have for cheap. 14/22 WFL, 8/12 Ludwig club date tom and a 16/16 Ludwig regular FT. Some chips on the BD and a couple of scratches on the FT but it's got MOJO for sure.
Changed the heads because they were a disaster and now they sing. BOOM-BOOM!

Re: Old DUCO orphans goodness
I have developed a reverse snobbery for Duco two-tone drums. My first drum set in 1957 was a used three-piece set of Gretsch drums that were a few years old. Just like so many things in the mid-1950s, the drums were painted in the factory-finish of Cameo Coral (pink) and Charcoal Grey. A few years ago I had Bum Wraps make custom wrap to re-wrap an old set of Walberg & Auge drums. I had them copy a green and silver Duco paint job on an old WFL snare drum. I'm thinking of ordering some pink and charcoal wrap for my little bop set of orphan Leedy drums.

Re: Old DUCO orphans goodness
Speaking of Bum Wraps, they can do wraps like these, too. All you need to do is supply them with good photos of the design you want. It would cost a little over $100 to make wrap for this little bop set.
