Yes Vintagemore! I tried 'er out this morning...no doubt about it, the brass shell is a powerful sound chamber. Cuts through anything! Does yours have the clipped badge?-

Beautiful detailing job Kelly! Wish my 79` looked as good but i`ve been playing and sweating on her for 35 yrs.and what a wonderful sounding instrument they are-very versatile...Enjoy.

Wayne, Would love to see a pic of your Black Beauty...something about a drum that has been played well. I guess its knowing that a lot of folks have had the joy of listening to it.

Sorry i don`t have an up close pic as my camera`s not working.This is the best i can do with my 79/80` BB.She`s got chrome off the rims from sweat and has lost some of the gun metal finish but it still sounds as it always has-WONDERFUL!
