1970's Ludwig Gold Sparkle 20" x 18" floor tom. Serial #1535891. 3 ply shell with reinforcement rings and clear maple interior. Nice bearing edges and interior. Metal hoops were replaced at some point with wooden bass drum hoops along with period correct 1970's Ludwig T-rods and claws. Two of the T-rods and claws are missing. The wooden bass drum hoops show wear and have some dents, scratches and scuffs. The batter side hoop is pretty badly warped. Two of the leg mounts were replaced with period correct 1970's Ludwig bass drum spur mounts (for thin curved spurs). The actual curved spurs are missing. I believe two holes were added to accommodate the curved spurs between the leg mount holes. It also appears that one of the original leg mounts was moved to it's current position under the badge (unless the drum originally had 4 legs which I don't believe is the case). A small portion of one of the holes for this mount can be seen when looking at exterior of the mount. Gold sparkle wrap is in nice shape with one scratch that is about 2" long (located under badge and off to the right- see photos). This scratch is only noticeable at certain angles. One lug has a noticeable scuff. This drum has two wrap seams, both of which are lifting (easy fix). One of the (2) remaining leg mounts is missing it's butterfly screw. Chrome has some very light pitting/oxidation and would clean up very nicely. The drum is also missing it's original floor tom legs and muffler.
