Mike - Does DFO have a Facebook page? If so, when the site goes back online, post a message informing the members that if the site goes down they can get updates and communicate with other over at Facebook. VDF should create a page as well. At least people can be kept up to date if there are problems with the main site.
Food for thought. An alternate meeting place would not be a bad idea for either forum. And just guessing/spit-balling here, but Dave and Tommy might not be too crazy about having the bandwidth at VDF used as a 'bulletin board' for other websites. Whatever their reason for taking down the DFO threads, I trust their judgement and after all is said and done, it is their prerogative to do so. It's -their- website! John
