Default Rare WFL Pedal Tuned Timpani Floor Tom

Hello all. I want to share this special drum with everyone. Special thanks to Richard King for providing me with a catalogue scan and some photos of a similar drum that he has/had.

When I got this drum is was painted black (now I can see why). There was a bit of WMP peeking through around the badge so I decided to strip it. Unfortunately the WMP wrap is in very bad shape. I believe a lot of the dark spots could be cleaned or stripped but I didn't want to go too far as the wrap has seen better days and I'm not very experienced when it comes to WMP restoration. This drum is rare and a cool piece of history nonetheless.

The drum is complete although some of the wires for the pedal are broken and need to be replaced

I included some photos of the drum painted black (although these photos aren't very good). Check out more photos here:

To repeat myself, your drum is beautiful, sir! To me, it really is a piece of art! Are you saying that you'd be willing to part with this rare instrument? If so, please let me know! Thanks.

Yes, I would. I do have some money in it though. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you would be interested in making an offer. Thanks!

Never seen anything like it. Very cool drum! The concept would be cool as a snare.
