Such a classic look- how heavy are the shells? Does the kit feel solid like it could still hold up to daily road playing? I love these and saw one recently at a decent price here- still considering....

Oh yeah, Sonor doesn't know how to make flimsy drums. I played them last night at an outdoor gig and they were fantastic. They are a bit heavier than Ludwig, Slingerland or Rogers kits I've owned and have a different tone because of the beechwood. They are pretty loud with great sustain, the kick was great, it was punchier than other 14x20 kicks I've had. I suggest you jump on those drums, you won't regret it, thanks.

Beautiful Drum Kit. I have a one in black with the 5x14 Snare drum. It needs some restoration (any suggestions).

that's one good way of finding out if they are flimsy or not!
