Did you guys see this new Tom mount Ludwig has come out with? This and the cymbal mount lug seem like good ideas. I wonder how this arch might work for those of us with vintage virgin bass drums who would like a rail mount without having to drill. Or will it work? Might have to get a vintage size ball arm.

I've seen this it is really a nice touch leave it to Ludwig to come up with the good stuff, it should work just fine for you.

you could always put an Atlas mount on your tom, then it will work and still no drilling required

Interesting idea. And that, in some of their pictures, it is mounted on the front hoop, & in some, it is mounted on the rear hoop..........marko
