Cool Re: Virtual Drum Battle

What cymbal set-up are you using? I like the blended sound...

Cheers

That's a 19" Zildjian Armand crash/ride with 3 rivets, a 20" Zildjian CIE ride, an 18" Zildjian A thin crash and a pair of 14" New Beat hi-hats.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I'll let you guys battle it out. For all of my years as a working drummer, I prided myself at being a dependable time keeper--a virtual metronome. And, metronomes do not solo. I found out many years after playing my last money gig that almost all of the fills and beats that I had copied off records were played by Hal Blaine, Earl Palmer, or Al Jackson, jr. Listen to this human metronome for inspiration. Do yourself a favor and play the long version on "Reelin' in the years" videos. Al jr. nailed it... https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...live&FORM=VDRE
