Vintage Drum identification help

Loading...

Hey,

I need some help identifying and pricing some drums that I'm trying to sell. It's a pearl set without the snare and I think it's from the 60's judging from the badge.

If anyone could help identify the model and let me know how much a can sell these for that would be great, thanks!

Nice kit,

These are from the late 50s to early 60s,...

If in good shape,..I.e. No extra holes, wrap is tight,..

$200 / $250 for the shells,...

I agree with Rims on price but I think these date to the late 60s. The wrap is called red oyster and it was used in the late 60s to early 70s

Look like Pearl President style lugs. Are the interiors of the shells regular wood, or are they something else?

FAYRAY'S got it. It's most probably a late 60's judging from the badge and rail mount..Had the same kit in Gold Grain Pearl.. Mine was a '73 and had the 70's black badge. Nice sounding drums.. Warm, yet pretty loud..

You can get at least $400-600.. Collectors and vintage drum players are beginning to notice these "sleeper drums"..

I sold mine for $600. You can view it on my profile gallery ;)

The triple rings in the bass drum.. Usually means 58/64 timeline/ish..

As for price...$600 is way overboard..

He is selling JUST the shells ....$250US is bang on...!

If you sell for more...great, it'll help my cause as well..lolol

They sometimes had date stamps inside. Most likely '66-'68.
